Bauchi Youth pressure group under auspices of Bauchi State Youth Democratic Assembly has tasked the newly appointed Director General Hajiya Maryam Garba Bagel to sustain the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) In the state.
The Secretary General of the Assembly, Comrade Daure David Yankoli made the call in a press statement made available to newsmen in Bauchi on Sunday. Said we called on her to use her wealth of experienced towards sustaining SDG in the state.
Yankoli explained that her appointment was as a result of her wealth of experienced In Non-Governmental Organizations as Civil Society member and legislator will give her the knowlege to steer the SDGs
According to him, the Youth assembly had appreciated Hajiya Maryam Garba Bagel’s existential experience and leadership skills demonstrated in her previous position, expressing confidence that this will assist her to provide exemplary leadership to the community especially in fast tracking economic integration, Development, and Good Governance.
The Youth Assembly pledged their support to her for the success of her assignment, and effective implementation of the sustainable development projects in the state.
Yankoli also stressed that the assembly is a key youth pressure group that advocated for good governance at all levels as the group is the voice of the under served communities.
The assembly also congratulated Abdul Ahmed Burra for his appointment as spokesperson for Speaker, Bauchi state House of Assembly, Abubakar Suleiman.
“We therefore look forward to a productive cooperation, and working relationship with the speaker and Governor Bala Mohammed for the speedy development of the state,”He said
