The recent memorial service and remembrance of the late Baba Peter Gonto was to no doubt a great honour to Bogoro and Tafawa Balewa Local Government and Bauchi state in general but unfortunately, Yakubu Dogara personalized it and give it a negative meaning aimed to striped him out of politics.
Dogara behaviour is not different from the behaviour of a despot politician controlling the affairs of the region to his vendetta, monopoly and power to threaten any political party ruling the state. To him anything to do with Bogoro and Tafawa Balewa most endorsed his approval and to be under his political power and control. His sole target is to manipulate the political arena comes 2023 to settle old political rivalry with PDP the party that he decamped before the 2019 election and leave barely one year after the election.
Dogara should know that one makes hay when the sunshine, it will no longer going to be business as usual because his political strength is no longer carrying the heavy and mighty weight as he imagines, the recent action has betrayed his credibility to the extent Dass Local Government is out of his political control, so are Bununu and the surrounding environment of Tafawa Balewa Local Government and the majority part of Bogoro Local Government.

Dogara personalized his grievances with PDP Government to the extent he became unwary as to what will affect his political strength and divided the one united community into two factions thereby dividing their loyalty for and against.
Dogara premeditated the security by masquerading as a saviour and subjugating himself as progressive and open-minded politicians and pre-empt what to expect, he never “Look before he leaps”.
Dogara openly played the role of Emperor within a state and against the tenant of democracy, his precipitous and unwary intimidation was a give way signal that the event was tagged by the underlings as to incinerate the event venue a kind of premeditated arrangement of some sort.
In any way, Dogara metaphorically assuage and informed the security on what to expect so that the event will not hold and pre-empting what to expect gives way to conspiracy because “he who comes to equity must come with clean hands”. It may be possible to conclude that Dogara has reached his political retirement in his constituency.
