Through

Honourable Commissioner Ministry Of Works and Transport

Sir,

RE: REQUEST FOR SOLAR STREET LIGHT IN BIRSHIN GANDU COMMUNITY NEW LAYOUT

I would like to bring to the concerned authorities’ notice the situation of lack of streets lights in our locality of Birshin Gandu Community New Layout.

Sir, Our community is drawn in darkness at night as there are no street lights to take away the dangerous darkness and to provide safety to the citizens while moving the road or within the community more especially as we approach the ember month.

Due to this, it remains dark entire night providing criminals with a free hand to commit a crime without any difficulty. Moreover, the chances of crimes have also been increased, there are regular episodes of chain grabbing at night hours, thievery and robbery which has turned into the order of the day in Birshi Gandu community. The criminals in the wake of perpetrating law violations exploit the obscurity and securely flee despite all effort by the community to avert such an ugly situation.

Sir, and also, on the other hand, the major roads leading into the community is bad and it lacks a good drainage system.

The lack of good Street light has contributed to spurt in the frequency of wrongdoing within the community more especially at night. Individuals no longer feel safe when passing through the road to their homes or the community at night, they don’t think that it sheltered to go out of their homes with the overarching of obscurity.

Sir, We accordingly, request you to kindly take a necessary move to mend this ugly trend by providing people of the community with good solar street lights to compliment the efforts of our security and vigilante groups in their effort of securing the community from hoodlums.

We, the poor citizens just want the concerned authorities to pay heed to our request and hope our request will be given due consideration as soon as possible. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

Your’s sincerely

Daure David
