The delay for the appointment of Principal Officers and Governing Council of Nigerian Airforce University Tafawa Balewa has become a source of concern to all well-meaning indigenes of Bauchi state.
The establishment of both the Federal College of Education Jama’are as well as the Federal Science and Technology College Misau were all announced after that of the Nigerian Airforce University, but the recent appointment of Principal Officers and Governing Councils of the Federal institutions without that of the University and this notification letter of the FSTC Misau (picture below) also become a source of worry to all discernible minds.
The uncountable importance of this institution in the areas of the economy, social as well as peaceful coexistence and security of the Historic Tafawa Balewa town can not be overemphasized.
Dear Mallam Adamu Adamu and Professor Sulaiman Elias Bogoro used whatever means humanly possible to ensure that this institution has come to reality.
It is also hoped that not only the Honourable Minister and the TetFund executive secretary, other stakeholders in the Bauchi state project will also partake in this struggle to ensure the successful take-up of this great and important institution.
While still congratulating the good people of Jama’are and Misau, we hope that in no distance time, the good people of Tafawa Balewa local government will also be celebrated.
