My Associates in the Modern World!
The nature of the 21st century makes me often bewilder, our societies are scrambling and norms and values are being dishonored. The world has now changed it’s bearing, humans accept what is wrong as right and what is right to be profane. I want to use this medium to enlighten the world to better understand the modern world.
The depth of a river can easily be determined as someone goes into the water, we can as well learn to do the right things from our elders. My discussion for today would be on honesty, though honesty is the best policy it is devastating in my society and also matters to others. The leaders of tomorrow are into drug abuse, smoking, indecency, and immoral acts. The Federal Ministry of health has aired several warnings against its dangers and effect to the societies but to no avail, it has been ignored.
I confronted some of my associates that involve in the illicit act about the consequences and impact to the societies, I’m disheartened with their response as it is been said ignorance is a big disease. When a person is into drug abuse there is a need to have money so as to fulfill his/her desire and in absence of no cash involves in criminal activities within his vicinity to purchase it, in recent times they engage in cybercrime.
This is a calamity and becoming worse in our societies. We have a great task ahead of us, let’s all have this at the back of our minds that the society we help today is where our offspring would dwell, so let’s join hands together to make it a better place for the upcoming generation.
In conclusion, our societies are fading due to immoral behaviors, we should always think before we act. It hurts whenever I recall such happenings in our communities, don’t influence any life in a negative way or manner, be responsible.
This is a piece I have for all leaders of tomorrow, remain the focus, and blessed.
