Mothers' Day: Gov Bala's Wife Praises Bauchi Mothers For Good Child Upbringing
Hajiya Mariam Bala Abdulkadir, wife of the Bauchi State Governor, has commended mothers in the state for working tirelessly to instill proper character and good moral upbringing of their children.
Hajiya Mariam Bala Abdulkadir stated this on Sunday in a statement to commemorate this year’s Mothers’ Day celebration.
She said that mothers in Bauchi State deserve special commendation for the good work they have been doing to raise good kids who will ultimately become leaders of the next generation.
She said that without good behaviors and morality in children, the younger ones will find it painstakingly arduous to properly pilot the affairs of their people for the over the overall development of society when the opportunity beacons on them.
Hajiya Mariam added that mothers occupy prime positions in the layers of societal systems because of the roles they play not just reproductive-wise but also moral-wise.
“As mothers, we constitut one of the the greatest pillars of moral production in the society and without us, no society can have sound moral base required for the steady growth and development of its people.
“Today’s challenges are real and demanding but I assure you that they can be made with more resilience, determination and dedication to our God-given chores,” she said.
She urged mothers to desist from sending their under-age daughters to matrimonial homes to avert cases of female fistula, single parenting and broken homes.
She asked mothers in the state to support the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed to enable him deliver on the mandate that was entrusted on him.
