The Nigerian House of Representatives has appointed Hon. Usman Zannah, the Member Representing Kaga/Gubio Magumeri Federal Constituency, as the Chairman, House Committee on North East Development Commission (NEDC) and Hon. Kabir Yusuf the member representing Alkaleri/Kirfi Federal constituency.
The NEDC is responsible for assessing, coordinating, harmonizing, and reporting on all intervention programs and initiatives by the Federal Government, States, and other Development Partners in the North East states of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe.
Hon. Kabir has pledged to use his position as the Deputy Chairman to advance the Commission’s goals and bring development to the people of Alkaleri/Kirfi Federal Constituency in Bauchi State, as well as the entire North East region of Nigeria. He is committed to working with the Chairman, Hon. Usman Zannah, to ensure that the Commission is successful in its mission of bringing development and progress to the North East region.
Hon. Kabir Yusuf is honored to have been appointed as the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on North East Development Commission, and is committed to doing all he can to help bring much needed progress and development to the North East region of Nigeria. He is confident that with the support of the Chairman, Hon. Usman Zannah, the NEDC will be successful in its mission of improving the lives of the people in the North East region.
