Necessity they say is the mother of all invention but in the case of want, Hassan Yohanna Umar plays around with electronics using local materials and innovations all by himself at the historic birth town of Nigeria’s first and foremost Prime Minister, Lt. Sir Abubakar Tafewa Balewa i.e Tafawa Balewa Town.
Hassan Y. Umar is an orphan that has completed National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering at the State-owned polytechnic ATAP Bauchi. He is a ‘Cult Hero’ among his peers for his creativity and innovative mindsets but lacks the financial supports to move his skills into something substantial for himself and his immediate community.
