EVENT:2days Small Scale Enterprises Training (office of the Senior Special Assistant on Empowerment)
The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Bauchi state Governor on Empowerment has trained Small Scale Entrepreneurs on 21st Century Enterprenuers. The 2-day training program was organized to equip Small Scale Entrepreneurs with knowledge on what Entrepreneurs need to know to survive in the 21st Century.
Resource persons were drawn from NIRSAL, Al-Muhibbah Foundation, SDGs, iGold Suave Company and Jojerah Media House to dwell on Leadership Skills in Entrepreneurship; Planning, Strategy and Marketing; Decent Work and Economic Growth; and Financial Management and Control.
The training program which took place at American Space, Bauchi, on 20th and 21st of October, 2020 attracted Entrepreneurs from across the state.
Expressing his gratitude to the SSA for initiating such program, Adamu Iliyasu (one of the participants) said “this opportunity was a great experience, i met interesting people with strong leadership skills and business ideas, am very happy with the SSA Empowerment for making this possible for people like us, i cant thank him enough.”
Also sharing her experience, Fatima Abdullahi another participant said ” this is a platform for young entrepreneurs to share ideas, learn from each other and network. The SSA is showing the world that Youths are equal to all task assigned to them, Governor Bala made the right choice in appointing him.”
At the end of the event, the SSA Empowerment, Hon. Khalid Barau Ningi expressed his pleasure for the success of the training program. He also said that: “This is the first time a training like this has happened. We will organize more so that Bauchi state under the stewardship of Sen. Bala Muhammed will witness serious transformation.”
Highlights of the program was the presentation of Certificates to the participants and group photo sessions.
