Talented afrobeat’s singer and songwriter, “Eazikial” premieres his much-anticipated debut single “Sounds”, a smooth transitional mid-tempo sound orchestrated with Panda’s Guitar, Percussions and Strings.
Eazikial reflection of “Sounds” from the “other room” emancipates emotions, love and romance in one piece.

Eazikial debut “Sounds” usher in the new purple wave!
What inspired you to join music?
I’ve always love music BECAUSE THAT’S a place to me, a place where I heal from my trauma and find peace. But there’s this way I want music to sound like that is missing so I feel like I’m needed to fill in that space. I am doing music because of how unique I sound from the choir; because I served in the choir for 3-5 years. So I feel like there are people out there with my same taste of sound hoping to get that artist to end their wait on listening to such spirituality. My sounds are more of spiritual; I’m saying this because there’s no way you’ll listen to my songs and not have goosebumps, that’s a fact and all my audience out there will testify, from my rhythm, dynamics, melody and tune color, all unique and original.

Who are your influences?
Well, the voices in my head and my life experiences are my influences; because I don’t have ANYONE, I’ll say I look up to; I am original and I’m always myself, so I don’t have anyone I imitate. But mostly I listen to Oxlade, Victony, Ayra Starr sometimes wizkid and other great afrobeat artistes.

What should we expect from Sounds?
Well, sounds is my debut track which is supposed to set the platform for me; SO, my performance on that track shouldn’t be any less than A1 which I’m sure it is because from the reviews of my team and other professionals like chilly ace, starmovak, Tobi the creator and many more good listeners I’m sure I did well on that. SO, nothing should be expected in contrary to spiritual and amazing music, even tho that particular song was inspired by the other room. (Laughs 😁)

When are you dropping a project/EP?
Well, for now I’ll have to do with the singles and figure out what’s best for my audience. Cos I always want to put out outstanding contents, so let’s do the singles first and see how far that goes.
