Do not collect cash Deposits for 2021 Hajj warns Alhaji Abubakar
The Bauchi state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has warned Hajj Affairs Officers and their deputies at the 20 Local Government in Bauchi state not to collect cash deposits of the 2021 hajj from intending Pilgrims who are willing to go for the pilgrimage.
The Executive Secretary of the Board Alhaji Abubakar Babangida Tafida Tafidan Giade sounded the warning in his office, while briefing media crew on preparation made for the 2021 Hajj.
He advised the officers to strictly adhere to the guidelines earlier issued to them in the course of mobilising hajj depositors and registration.
Babangida stressed that the Board is taking necessary measures and would leave no stone untoned to improve hajj management for the benefit of Pilgrims.
He maintained that the collection of 2021 Hajj deposits of 1.5M is ongoing where depositors are at the liberty to made payments up to a minimum of three instalments.
Babangida further reassured the commitments of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad administration in ensuring that the Board records the best hajj operation this year and therefore called on the people of Bauchi State to continue to assist the Governor with prayers to achieve his goals.
